German WWII Summer Tunic Breast Eagle for Wehrmacht Heer officers. It is a high-quality, early piece, and is nearly perfect condition. It is of die struck aluminum construction, with an added on hinge, clasp, and lower hook. It has a maker mark on the back, of an -M- inside a diamond, rare unknown maker. It measures approximately 95mmx37mm
Perfect for collection or for uniform project. This Eagle will be additional to any good collection.. Hard to find better condition on the market.

These were worn on the summer uniforms of Heer (Army) officers, and were made to be removable, to allow the uniforms to be cleaned. The reverse hardware setup is intact and functional, with a barrel hinge, and a round wire pin and catch. There is a slight bend to the pin, and typical age patination to the reverse hardware, but overall this piece is very clean, and in excellent condition. Ready to display!
